The weather's turned chillier and I caught my second cold in two months. 2011 is turning into a rather unhealthy year...
I'm currently in Toronto, helping (or really just being a nuisance to) some ladies from Love Love Hill prepare for Doujinkafest, also known as the Anime North Halloween Dance Party, to be held tonight! I won't be tabling myself, but you can find some of the books I'm a part of (Kitto Cuticle, Vocalatte Tea Time and a brand new OlivineTeacup book, {Rain/Shine} at the Love Love Hill table if you're planning to attend! Of course, don't forget to check out their other selections too, all of which are highly recommended reads
I also went to Canzine this past weekend, and there were so many artists doing so many great things everywhere I looked! It simultaneously made me excited to make more books and uncertain as to my own creativity. Such is the dual nature of going to any convention or festival filled with artists.
Once October is over, Café Figaro preparations will be back in full swing! We hired a new butler to join our team, which means more staff training for me, and more fun to look forward to for our customers. We're having another event at O-taku Lounge on Saturday, November 19th, 11h00 - 19h00, and we've updated our menu to make the most of seasonal items. Our website has also been updated now with some fancy gadgets and quirks, so please take a look at Café Figaro's offiicial homepage!
Don't forget that you can connect with Café Figaro through these sites too:

Tumblr: [link] <-- We started this fairly recently, mostly to upload our photos from the fall photoshoot. Take a look at what our maids and butlers do during off-time!
Wow, I feel like I'm always advertising something when I write on dA. But at least it's useful information...I think.
Art uploads (hopefully) when I get back home in a few days; my roomate gave me his old scanner as a moving-in gift
Keep warm!
